ASF is a newly registered volunteer based non-profitable, non-commercial and a non-political society.
ASF focus on land management, water management, safe and healthy food production, water,health,education , skills development for the eradication of poverty and empowerment of poor rural women and small holders. Development research and capacity building, training, farming system,innovative and alternative agriculture sustainable agriculture, agribusiness and market, free information resources on agriculture,livestock,aquaculture, value addition to agricultural produce, agritourism, land management, soil fertility, irrigation, drainage system, pest and disease control.
- To promote, develop and up-gradation of the agriculture by supporting and facilitating the farmers, processors and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate and bring value addition and innovation in farm production for better and sustainable business opportunities for small farmers.
- To support the entire agriculture value chain to enhance sector competitiveness through innovations, value addition and new products and equipment introduction, education, training and research.
- To motivate and guide the people relating to agriculture, agribusiness and livestock to enhance their productivity/competitiveness through training workshops and any other activities deemed necessary for their capacity building.
- To provide inputs to the concerned ministries, institutions, organizations, departments and authorities of the Government of Pakistan including the Provincial and Local Governments, propose new rules, regulations, bye-laws and standards for providing a level playing field and conducive regulatory environment for the development of the said sector and propose amendments thereof in any existing rules, regulations, bye-laws and standards.
- To provide, support and facilitate a linking mechanism for efficient co-ordination between the stakeholders and the medium enterprises operating in the said sector and to facilitate them to channelize their resources in a collaborative manner for the development and up-gradation.
- To provide financial aid to the said community to run and establish an institution for the activities relating to their profession
- Formal and informal education for rural/urban for poverty reduction and employment. Organization use practices of microfinance/microcredit and product lending services.
- Women empowerment through ensuring the equal access to opportunities to participate in policy making and the process of sustainable development especially in agriculture and livestock.
- Make efforts for effective utilization of natural resources and protect environment.
- To apply research/senses/surveys and advocacy tools for the development of right methodologies, tools and mechanism to address socio-economic issues of society.
- To establish institutions for the benefit and uplift of humanity and particularly for the welfare, food, health, education and shelter of the poor community and raising the standard of living of the financially handicapped families.
- To work in cooperation with other local/international/governmental societies/individuals/companies of the like nature working towards such an ends as are aforesaid objectives of the Foundation.
