  • During her education, she was keen in research and innovative products development, she always participated in scientific exhibitions and got 1st prize.
  • During  M.Sc. Botany she did research on medicinal plants, fruits and vegetables and invented natural ingredients formulae for health care.
  •  In the year 1993, research on Weeds for the extraction of Saponin (natural detergent).
  • In the year, 1997 research on medicinal plants for cancer treatment.
  • In the year 2009, did research on Rock Soil, for the estimation of Micro Nutrients and  metals for Agriculture and industrial purpose.
  • In the year 2010 worked for agro food products development.
  • In the year 2011 research on allelopathic effect of medicinal plants on vegetables.

Participation in international training program pertinent to agriculture and agribusiness

  • Participation in training course ,value addition to Agricultural products (neutraceutical),Agribusiness site visit.22-28 July,2009 Suva, Fijji.
  • WBN Women Entrepreneur workshop 17-29 January 2010 INTECMA Resort and convention center Malaysia.
  • Participated in seminar on building value chains in agri business (fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers ) 23-27 may 2010 in Bogor, Indonesia.
  • e-Learning Course on Good Agricultural Practices & GLOBAL GAP for Greater Market Access for Agri-Food Products Jointly Organized By the Asian Productivity Organization 26-28 Oct, 2010. Lahore- Pakistan.
  • Training course for business management ( organized by US Department and sponsored by Goldman Ssachs, May 1-15 2011 in Arizona.Phoenix (Thunderbird ), May 16-19 in Washington DC USA. 
  • Training course on international standards and regulations for the food industry (HACCP) 2006 delivered by united registrar of system and participated in many other relevant training program.

She has 18 years of innovative product development/value addition to agricultural produce,food safety (HACCP ), GAP, global GAP,land management,soil fertility, farming,plantation and land scaping, disease and pest control, rural development etc.

Present Jobs and Activities        

  • As a member of Core group, working on (Medicinal Plants, Fruits & Vegetable) For the development of Innovative Agri-Food Products at GCU (Govt. College University, Botany Department, Lahore-Pakistan)
  • EC member of FCC University (Forman Christian College-University)
  • Chairperson, Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agribusiness development Central and North Punjab Women Chamber Of Commerce and Industries
  • Ex-Vice Chairperson, Standing Committee on Agricultural Development FPCCI (Federation of Pakistan Chamber of commerce and Industries)
  • At present as a free lancer, working in rural area to provide training to the rural women and small scale farmers for the production of safe, healty food following GAP for their healthy life.
  • She  trained the educated house wives, female employees of The First Women Bank, female Students of Vocational Institute, male and female workers and poor women of flood affected area of  Distt. Muzzafar Garh and Layyia for household vegetables (How to Grow Salad, Vegetables and Fruits at Home, in Containers and Sacks)
